====== SSPD ======
Superconducting Strip Photon Detector (SSPD)((Commonly known as Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detector (SNSPD). The name Superconducting Strip Photon Detector was defined by the [[https://iectest.iec.ch/dyn/www/f?p=103:38:22363152305429::::FSP_ORG_ID,FSP_APEX_PAGE,FSP_PROJECT_ID:1285,23,102349|IEC]].)) are single photon detectors based on an effect in superconducting thin films with geometrical constrictions to nano-wires. Initially developed by G. Gol'tsman and colleagues at the University of Moscow {[Goltsman.Okunev.ea:2001]}.
